Material Handler Associate

This candidate must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in preparing material, components and machines for shipping to various US and international destinations. Capable of creating shipping containers of wood or other materials. Competent in general hand tool and power tool usage. Maintain high level of safety and care in daily activities and conforming to OSHA and Hydromat safety guidelines are a must. Help break machines down prepared for shipping banding, securing, moving various items from the production floor to the shipping and receiving area. Assist in coordinating truck arrival for pickup and drop-offs. Load various types of shipping containers and flatbed trucks. Assist in the securement and banding of equipment to the vehicle for safe and legal transport. Remove shipping container from shop floor to storage area.

Must be able to operate a forklift and other materials handling equipment in tight and congested areas. Transporting items to and from the paint shop and weld shop within our campus using a forklift. Able to operate various overhead cranes with in the production floor. Capable of rigging machines weighting of upwards of 30,000 pounds and positioning on the production floor. Responsible for coolants and oils for all machines, waste oil and removal. Maintain waste chip storage room and disposal of chip waste. Responsible for maintaining shipping materials and resources. Responsible for maintaining pallet and shipping containers storage area as a clean and organized area.

A minimum of 5 years of industry experience is required.  Attendance is a requirement of this position.
