Hydromat Technician / Repair Technician / Maintenance Technician:

This position requires troubleshooting, disassembly, assessing, ordering parts, repairing, and testing functionality of mechanical and electrical equipment such as part loaders, high precision hydraulic toolspindle units, CNC units, pick and place devices, etc. Preferred qualified individuals will possess the ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and understand tolerances and classes of fit.  They will also be able to read blueprints (both detail and assembly) and repair used components to like new O.E.M. standards – including hydraulically, mechanically and electrically. They understand proper disassembly and assembly procedures and how important it is to have a clean and organized work station and the principles of 5S. They will also have the ability to run manual toolroom machines such as a bandsaw, drill press, vertical milling machines, lathes and surface grinders. They will have good knowledge of cutting tools. G and M code programming, and set up of CNC equipment highly preferred to support the equipment repair. Familiarity with Fanuc robotics is a significant plus. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time (domestic and international). Individuals must keep equipment and work area clean, safe, and organized. Knowledge of the metric system and converting from English to metric is a must.

Individual should have a combination of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and some electrical experience. Candidates with an associate's degree (AA) in Industrial Electronics Technology or Precision Machining from a two-year college or technical school and two years of related experience in these fields highly preferred.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities and is required to work effectively with people in all levels of the organization. The qualified individual will be self-motivated, goal-driven, work well in both team and individual environments. Must be able to work safely, recognize and correct unsafe conditions, and select appropriate PPE based on job requirements.

This position requires flexibility with scheduling and the ability to travel as business needs dictate, up to 50%. The normal schedule will be Monday-Friday.
