Design Engineer

This position is responsible for generating machine designs, as well as, putting problem-solving skills to use by providing solutions for design challenges. This job requires design work with Inventor 3D. This professional will be responsible for creating casting and machined component parts including required GD&T for best performance and manufacturing. A strong background in general manufacturing, working with drawings, engineering drawings, machine and fabrication processes, weldments, sheet metal designs, and casting designs is highly preferred. The ability to communicate professionally and effectively with other associates and managers is ideal. This candidate must be a team player, self-motivated, project driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry with a minimum of 3-5 years experience is required. Skill with Inventor or similar modeling / design software is a must and proficiency with an ERP system is highly preferred.
