Purchasing Clerk Associate

The Purchasing Clerk assists the Director of Materials and Purchasing Agents in daily operations. This position facilitates and expedites the flow of materials, non-inventory products, and services to and from various departments, utilizing ERP tools. The Purchasing Clerks will deal directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods. They handle any delivery inconsistencies or delays as well as assist accounting with invoice reconciliation.

Associates degree preferred; 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area manufacturing preferred - or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Other Required Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Office Suite; ERP; Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field; Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; Performs a variety of tasks; Works under general supervision; A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
